
To get to 69 Bacardi Lane, Seymour Arm, BC is quite simple
if you follow these directions carefully.
5 km east of Chase, you turn north off the highway & cross the Little River, using the Squilax bridge. Follow the paved highway through Scotch Creek, Celista,, Magna Bay, Anglemont and St. Ives. Past St. Ives the pavement ends and turns into gravel . This is 28 Km on the 1000 road. I have put signs up every 5 KM or so. You can, and should, follow these signs for 28 Km. Signs to "Silver Beach Provincial Park", and “Sunny Waters” also will guide you. The large red arrows indicate the way to Sunny Waters Resort. After 28Km, you will be at a "Y" in the road. You are now at the junction of 0 Km. on the 1000 road and 2.5 Km on the 1020 road. Proceed straight ahead. At 2.75 Km on the 1020, the 1025 road takes off to the left. Take care you do not take it. You need to stay right. You will see a sign on your right, part way around the corner, indicating the Silvery Beach park is ahead. Just ahead, on the 3 KM marker post, you will see the Bacardi arrow, indicating you are on the right track. At about the 5 km mark, you will see a sawmill to your left. At 5.5 KM, you must take the road to your right. Numerous signs, including the Bacardi arrow, indicate this is the way to Seymour Arm. This is 0KM on the 1100 road. The KM signs will count up as you drive towards Seymour Arm. At 9.5 km on the 1100 road you must turn right. Many signs indicate Seymour Arm is to the right. The dump is to the left. Turn right. cross the single lane bridge and continue straight ahead. This is Quast Rd. A couple or three Km’s later, you will climb a grade and see a farm to your left. It has numerous buildings, all with orange roofs. Turn left at the next intersection. This is the Seymour Arm Bay Road. Go down the hill, around the bend and up the hill. About 2.75 Km. later,you will see a brown house with a green roof on the left. Just past it, you will turn right on the 1200 road. This intersection is at 4.5 KM on the 1200 road, as the sign on your left indicates. Signs at this intersection indicate 69 Bacardi Lane, as well as Sunny Waters is to your right. Turn right, and proceed. The KM signs will count up. Just before the 7 Km sign, you will see the turn to the Sunny Waters Resort. Continue straight ahead. Take the first driveway to the left past the 8 Km sign. There may be a cable across the road, so proceed with care. Take the first lane to the right, and follow it several hundred feet to the cabin. Surprise! You made it. Come on in, pour yourself a congratulatory drink, and enjoy our little version of paradise.
